The Ghana Table Tennis Association President Mawuko Afadzinu praised the players for their high level of performance.
“It has been a remarkable championship with a performance that can be compared to that of other countries on the continent. If they are able to sustain it, then we will make a big impact at the All Africa Games competition.”
The Chief Coach of the GTTA, Owusu Ansah explained that the Top 8 were selected based on points accumulated from the start of the competition last year.
“This is the final of the competition that started last year. Those that played today are those that have done very well and have amassed enough points.”
