Local blogger competing in home decor competition, winner donates prize to good cause

We are beyond ready for sit-down family meals to make a comeback, and thankfully, more homeowners are opting to keep their formal dining rooms instead of converting them into media rooms or offices, says Houzz. Here's hoping they're all as stylish as the pale purple number here.

Edmond, Okla.-The 2016 FrogTape Paintover Challenge is happening now and six SIY home décor bloggers are in a cafty competition to see who can makeover their space the best using three things: paint, painter’s tape and a $1,000 budget.

One of the bloggers is Allison Griffith, who lives in Edmond, with Refunk My Junk.

The winner will be announced June 27th and gets to donate $5,000 to the charity of their choice.

Griffith chose Habitat for Humanity.

Voting is open until Thursday, June 9th at 12 p.m.
