Center of the world, $6.5 Billion to change the narrative- "Doors of No Return to Point of Return"

Slavery has been one of the momentous layers, which most Africans see as an obstacle in building confidence and prosperity. United Nations has created an Ark in honor of that. In an effort to change the narrative, Atlanta Georgia in partnership with Tema Metropolitan Assembly and the Ghana Government is finally creating “Point of Return”. Africans and African – Americans must embrace this as a root to our homeland. 

Ghana has reached a partnership agreement with US-based firm Transatlantic BDR to construct a 60,000 capacity stadium in Tema—the biggest in the country’s history, reports disclose.

The move being facilitated by the Tema Metropolitan Assembly (TMA) and the US-based investor group will see the construction of the biggest stadia in West African country.

The Ghana government has reached an agreement with the US-based construction firm to build the facility along Tema’s coastline, a multi-billion- dollar complex. The groundbreaking project is an overall regional economic development plan designed to grow international tourism.

Aside the 60,000 edifice, the facility will come along with commercial retail and residential mixed-use accommodations targeting cross-border corporations and regional companies.

This historic partnership has the full support of national and local government officials. “I wish to express our support for this landmark development that will forever change Ghana and be a showcase for the future development on the continent of Africa”, Ghana’s minister of State Honourable Rashid Pelpuo said.

Tema Metropolitan Chief Executive Honourable Isaac Ashai Odamtten adds, “We stand by a much imposing duty to provide the needed interface for our Port and industrial city and promote a livable, smart city that offers an opportunity to live, work and leisure in the city in the centre of the world. Indeed, a life changing and national transforming project is conceived.”

The project will upgrade ailing infrastructure, creating highly skilled job opportunities for Ghana’s educated workforce. Energy distribution is key and leveraging the latest in technologies via strategic partnerships with emerging technology companies in phasing out legacy systems is essential.

The massive undertaking of building a convention centre, hotels, and a FIFA compliant soccer stadium will enable Ghana to host major international events therefore elevating the country to a first-tier market.

Infrastructure investments will include new roadways; a light rail system expansion; renewable energy; and a 6G wireless communication network.
