Buyers are only left with the choice of paying and being handed the keys.

The Need for a Housing Bank
Ghana is currently faced with a huge deficit of two million units yet there is no bank tailored to meet the demands of the nation.
The rates charged for mortgages keep rocketing, pushing the average Ghanaian out of the bracket of homeowners.
David Vondee was of the view that, in order to reduce the deficit, government must play a role through the creation of a housing fund that can support homebuyers through the provision of finance at reasonable rate.
According to him, the existing banks have not served the interests of the construction sector and the onus therefore lies on government to bring a change.

Despite the obvious challenges, KCL is poised to do everything possible to house the masses while providing critical infrastructure like roads, schools and libraries.
