Housing has for centuries played a key role in the comfort, personal growth and convenience for both businesses and individuals alike. The advent of technology has altered the face of construction through the influx of innovative and ingenious ideas pertaining to building and construction.
Contrary to this forward move to bettering the infrastructural industry, there has been incidence of destruction of houses during raining days, and this natural occurrence brings to bare the mediocre supplies used and materials used in the construction of these houses and edifices.
A key component in construction is the roofing system. It doesn’t only act as “the cherry on top” of the aesthetic value of the building, but intrinsically has a purpose of protecting the occupants from the vagaries of the weather. Quality means everything in terms of construction and therefore the security of occupants cannot be undermined through the use of shoddy materials.
Similarly, not only does it undermine the safety of individuals, it threatens the worthiness of contractors and suppliers.
Roofing products are the crowning piece in the completion of any building. Therefore, its relevance in the building process cannot be side-lined and substituted with below standard materials which as a consequent of rainfall or heavy storm, the inadequacies might be brought to bear and correspondingly the threatening the lives of those who fall victims to its devastation. Caution must be exacted in the use and patronage, as it is the most vulnerable part of the building and as such quality must not be compromised,
