REAL ESTATE PERSONALITY OF THE WEEK

Ayiku Joseph

A few men can boast of housing a thousand families and providing recreational facilities to the masses. Such is the colossal contribution of our Man of the Week, Dr. Prince-Joseph Kofi Ayiku and the team at Lakeside to Ghana’s infrastructure sector.

Dr. Ayiku is the Managing Director of Lakeside Estate Limited, a subsidiary of the Japan Motors Trading Company.

He rose through the ranks, occupying the position of Finance Manager; a role he executed to near perfection with the company exceeding financial targets.
His hard works were noticed and he was promoted to the position of Managing Director.


Education

After completing the Accra Academy, ‘Bleoobi’ Prince-Joseph Kofi Ayiku proceeded to the University of Cape Coast where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.

He holds a Masters in Business Administration, Finance option from the nation’s premier university; the University of Ghana, Legon and a Post Graduate Diploma from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).

In addition to these degrees and enviable academic laurels, he has various certificates within the construction and managerial field from the University of Ghana .

Awards and Achievements

Dr. Ayiku is the proud holder of a Doctorate in Business Administration from the prestigious London Graduate School, Commonwealth University, UK.

-With his guidance, efforts and leadership Lakeside won the Best Recreational Park of the year in 2011 the Ghana Property Awards.
-The Best Developer of the Year Award (Low-income category) at the 5th Ghana Property Awards was presented to Lakeside due to his dedication to housing the budding middle income class.
-His collaborative efforts with the crew at Lakeside led to Lakeside being inducted into Ghana’s Property Hall of Fame at the 2016 edition of the Ghana Property Awards.

-Together with his team, ‘Doc’ has supervised the construction of over a thousand housing units.
-At the 3rd Business Excellence Awards, he was adjudged the Emerging Executive of the Year by the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana, after exhibiting brilliance and an understanding of the business landscape.

His quest for perfection has led to the strong foundation Lakeside enjoys today, and it is for this reason we say Ayekoo for occupying the position of man of the week.
